I was born in Puerto Rico.
I served this country in uniform.
My father gave over 25 years of his life to the U.S. Army.
Phyllis served for more than a decade as a civilian supporting the Army.
Her mother? Retired from the U.S. Navy.
So when we say freedom runs deep in our family, it’s not just words, it’s a lived reality.
But let’s be clear:
Freedom has never just been about flags or fireworks.
To us, it means ownership.

The American Dream Isn’t Dead, It’s Just Evolved
The economy today may look different than it did for our parents and grandparents.
